The George Forman lean mean fat grillin machine

We have two, small and large. I had almost forgotten about them. I think I'll use the big one to cook some chicken for tonight. It's gonna be too cold for the grill on the patio.
 
We had two at fifferent times and my wife got rid of them, I thought they worked great, but she does the cooking.
Maybe a counter spave thing?
 
Nothing beats a steak cooked over real charcoal, but it's too da## cold in IL to grill outdoors in the winter. So the George does a fair job, just need to take the meat off early enough so it doesn't get over-cooked.
 
Add me to the list of unimpressed. Those were the most flavorless burgers I've ever eaten. Chicken had an odd taste as well. I guess if I preseason the meat that might change things but I'm a Floridian and it's hard to say it's too cold to grill. I just bought the contraption because it's supposed to be fast. Never tried bacon. That's got to be slow cooked in the cast iron pan so the eggs can come next.
