The heads are finally back. He did pretty good work on them. They were in pretty good shape to start. He added studs, replaced a valve and cleaned up the rest and replaced a valve guide. He added the parts I provided.
I kinda had the rug yanked out from under me. So I don't know when I'll get around to get the motor running.

Edit: sorry for the long wait time for the update on the project. I have been busy

"long wait time" is completely relative... keep after it when time allows... don't worry about us... we are a generally patient bunch.. just looking for the happy end to the story... and yes, the heads look really nice...
 
Thank y'all! I got to the end of march to move and I have problems with my daily driver I need to fix. So it might be a while before I can build the rest of the engine. But I will price the parts.
 
Projects always seem to stretch out... it's especially frustrating when you're waiting on others, though.

I'm 3 months into an engine swap/complete re-wire on our race car, and just starting the re-assembly phase. I have no-one to blame but myself for any delays, though... :p
