The John Wayne guns and me

Here's my first pic from the NRA convention. It's me, holding a couple of really special guns. On the left, in my right hand, is the sixgun used by John Wayne in the film "Rio Lobo." On the right, in my left hand, is the large-loop Model 92 Winchester used by Wayne in "True Grit." Who can forget his charging the bad guys on horseback twirling his 92 with the reins in his teeth? Thought you'd like to see the guns.

No, I didn't check on the calibers. I'd be surprised if they weren't .45 Colt and .44/40, though.

I think I seen that gun at the autry museum. I read it really was .38 WCF. (38-40)
