The kid does it again!

Got a set of new grips from forum member schofieldkid81 and thought I would show them off. He calls them his Fluer-de-lis grips. They are made from English/French walnut and the checkering is 20 LPI. This set incorporates the large pre-war silver medallions. I requested that he make them from a lighter wood, but did not want maple. I think he nailed it! I am showing a lot of pictures so you can see them from all angles:

I think they are both unique, and really nice looking. Love how they stop even with the butt.

You are right. They don't contain the traditional 3 lobed design of the Fleur-de-lis. This is his rendition.
