I purchased this 5" Virginian Dragoon. 45 Colt with quite a nice trigger!!

This looks to be a keeper for me.

This CZ in .22 WMR was my last purchase. Too bad it isn't a good shooter.

Haven't bought a handgun in a while. Yours looks very nice.

My last gun purchase of '09 was this S&W 10-5, the first of '10 will be some variation of Bodyguard...

I bought a Mossy 500 20ga. a few weeks ago. Just a few minutes before that I bought a S&W 99 in .40S&W. I love gun shows.

My last purchase was a CZ97B.The transfer isn't completed so it'll be a couple of weeks before I have it in the hand.

I picked up a Sigma AF in .40 on Monday, just in time for some celebration.:D

I hope to start the year off right with a 4013TSW if it's still available. Then I'll be looking for some classic six guns.

Wow, some real nice guns...I guess a bunch of us have been busy keeping the economy going! I intend to do my part in 2010 as well!

RonJ,
Thanks for the compliment! You need to bring that gun out to the farm and ring some bells, gongs, plates and spinners! If it's not a long range shooter, we can park at the 50 yard benches and have fun form that distance!

A Marlin Golden 39A from another forum member. Very nice, accurate, but for a revolver person a little heavier to tote around. No regrets though.

tripledipper,
I love my 39A...I bet you love yours...if it's a tad heavy...try handling a 39A Mountie. It has a 20" barrel and straight stock. OR...a Browning Semi-Auto .22 rifle...the ultimate in lightweight rimfire shooting.

rfo1,
I really enjoyed shooting my 97B. I had it converted to SA by CZ-USA. It had a sweet trigger.

Colt OMT w/Ropers

Won this Colt Officers Model Target in .22 LR with Roper stocks from GB. Circa 1937 and very accurate.

I always wanted a 357 snubnose. I finally stumbled on a very nice clean year 1995 M640-1. Hopefully my last purchase.

The Wife and I decided to buy our own presents for " The day we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ". ( I call it that in case somebody gets offended by the "C" word).
I picked up a S@W 340 PD a local show. " OUCH" applies to both the price and the shooting experience. The Wife wants a new recliner. ( Less than 1/3 the price of my new S@W ). Plus, I will be the one most often occupying HER present. Sometimes things just work out pretty good.

Nice guns!

WoodSmith,
That Colt is pristine! I love the stocks and front sight.

JamesArthur60,
Last gun...well in 2009 maybe...but what are you gonna do in 2010?

P@R Fan,
You did come out on the bright side of the gift(s). What part of NE Iowa are you from...I was born and rained in Waverly.

AirCommando,
That's a dandy Highway Patrolman!! I bought my gun on 12/31 also...from Cabela's.

Charlie,
I have a "fat" barreled 64-3 (police trade) and would like to find a pencil-barrel!

Happy New Year Y'all!!!

Do trades count?
I traded for these two right before Christmas.
The Colt is a civilian M1892 Army & Navy. It is completely original in that it has none of the "upgrades" Colt did to most of these to bring them into line with the later improvements. (i.e. Models 1894, 1895, 1896, 1901 and 1903) And, according to the man that "wrote the book" on these models, it is the 310th civilian model made.

The other is a H&R .32 "Bicycle" gun with a 2" barrel which is also supposedly fairly scarce.

The only downside is that I had to trade a medicore Chiefs Special Airweight (Pre-M37) for them. (correct but non-matching grips and some carry wear.)

We're both happy with the deal, so I guess it was a good trade.

I forgot to mention, I have the name of the original owner and am researching him as he was a Sp.Am. War vet and the gun could have seen action.

More NICE guns!!

Vegetaman,
A friend just purchased a clone of your gun...he loves it. I was surprised at how nice the factory trigger was!!

imashooter2,
Now don't tell me those stocks were on that beautiful gun!! That was a great gun to end 2009 with!!!

jbull380,
Good choice. Many will tell you the M19 is the perfect Glock. Nice package.

Monty,
Is that your daughter? She's a sweetheart! Has she worn out her new gun yet?
Great looking 336! If not the most important, it's certainly got my attention!! Nice. I recently picked up a Western Field that looks pretty close to your Marlin! Your lever-gun is a CREAM PUFF. Like you, I prefer the pre-safety Marlins.

Dean,
I'd say your "last guns of 2009" are the most interesting. I had an Army/Navy earlier in the year, but it went away on another deal...the jigged bone grips on that gun made the deal for me!! Very nice guns. Great trade IMHO

Last gun bought in 2009

I was able to buy 2 guns at once. #1 is a Colt 1908 .380 cal made in 1913, #2 is a Sauer(early style) .32cal. Sorry I don't know how to do pictures. Both guns are beautiful.

Dragoon. 45 Colt with quite a nice trigger!!

This looks to be a keeper for me.

Speakin' of HK's and the last gun bought in 2009…

I bought an HK45 in 2008 and after shooting that one, I just had to have its little brother, the model HK45C. With a Streamlight TLR-2 light/laser and a Dan Hillsman holster, it's a great concealed carry ensemble.

I did come real close to buying an H&R .45-70 Buffalo Classic single shot. I'm still in the price negotiation stage with the seller!

Bob,
Wow, I ope you learn how to take & post pics...I'd love to see those! Congrats!

Nickster,
I bet that is a fun gun to shoot. I don't currently have a 44 Mag carbine or rifle...had a Marlin, but the trigger was not good enough (for my tastes) and the offer to buy it from me was too good to pass up!

jj,
Nice H&K. I have a Tactical and LOVE the gun. Enjoy!!

Jack B.,
I can understand the desire for more H&Ks, I'd love a squeeze-cock 9mm.

Trick question ;)...

12/27/09 bought a very, very nice 66-1 4", I didn't "need" from a friend @ the American Legion "show"...

But...

12/29/09 took delivery @ my dealer of a 92FS I'd bought the week previous from J&G...

See? Trick question :D:D:D...
