It's with a heavy heart I have to pass on the sad news that a very dear friend to me and many here on the forum has passed away.
Randy aka fleabus101 left us yesterday after noon.
It's hard for me to express the sadness I feel.
Randy was on a mission to rescue every prewar grip he could find and he found a lot. He sent them to me to restore so he could find them a new home, often making 10 or 20 bucks for his trouble. It made him happy and gave him something to do.
I talked with Randy often and the conversations would range from S&W guns and grips to old military rifle stocks he used to restore and sometimes politics but the conversation often included our family's and especially the two grandchildren we each were so blessed to have at about the same time. Randy cherished his family.
I will miss you buddy, rest in peace.
