Friends have been recommending for several years that I watch "The Man in the High Castle" that is available through Amazon Prime. I didn't think I had Amazon Prime, so never did follow up.
It pays to consult with the Household Purchasing Agent (my wife). As it turns out I have Amazon Prime available, just have not figured out how to stream it to a remote TV yet (as I do with Google stuff).
Anyway, I got it up on an iPad, and gave it a shot. One episode led me to another, and I am now waiting for the next season to be released.
I enjoyed the premise and the acting so far. Are there any other fans?

I loved it! Only saw the seasons on Amazon thus far but hope they make more available. Very interesting premise as to how different our world would be if not for the many courageous folks in the "greatest generation".

Great show.

I read Philip Dick’s book and found it less than exciting, although the concept was fascinating.

The show is one of the few occasions where the TV adaptation is superior to the literary source.

One funny factor for those of us living in the Pacific Northwest: The CGI sets of the big cities, San Francisco, New York, and in the 2nd season Berlin, are well-done and impressive. But since filming was done in Washington state and BC, every out-in-the-country scene, be it set in California, Colorado, the East Coast or Germany, looks like it was shot along some logging road ten minutes outside my town ;)

The end of season 2 wrapped a lot of plot lines in many ways, so it’ll be interesting to see where season 3 goes. The trailer for season 3 looks very science-fictiony, something the first two seasons managed to avoid (although it is sci-fi, of course).

Philip K. Dick is generally more interesting in movies.

Ie. "Blade Runner"; "Total Recall"; "Impostor"; "Minority Report"; "Paycheck"; "Next". Just to name the ones I know.

The exception, at least for me, "A Scanner Darkly" the movie is so close to the original that I saw no improvement. I liked the book anyways.:D

Edit. Almost forgot. Never read "The Man in the High Castle"( the base concept makes me shiver). Never watched the series either.
