The Vikings were within one touchdown of winning the game right to the end. Closer than I thought it would be. I was not impressed with Mr Favre, as he really looked tired by the end of the 3rd quarter. Actually, other than Brees looking great in the first quarter, I didn't find it to be a very exciting game.

Congrats to the Saints fans, and better luck next time to our Minnesota friends!

We need to give our field goal kicker a good woodshedding-the game should have been 20-9-he missed two EASY ones
On the bright side, I thought our defense played extremely well-holding that offense to 9 points was a great performance. They have a whale of a defense. Honestly, I love a good defensive low scoring game-keeps you on the edge of your chair.

My wife does not like football, I gave her a simple request, "I leave for Afghanistan next week, I would like to watch this game on the BIG SCREEN TV". She thought for a second and told me to enjoy it and she watched her soap opera in the other room. Funny thing, somewhere in the 4th quarter she walked by the couch and nudged me awake I claimed I was resting my eyes during the commercial!!!
