I agree that the 357 is the most practical of handguns if limited to only one.(what a horrible thought). While I would chose a 686 over any Colt offering past or present I have a real soft spot for my 4"M28. But then again anyone trying to take my Model 10 will be in for a very tough time.

While I do like my 3-5-7 686+s in 3" and 5", if the choice was only one centerfire revolver, the nod would go to my 629 5"..
