I picked these up from John (Vettepartz) and stuck them on my 10-5. They feel right at home on a 4" barrel and they fit in great with my PD collection including Fuzzies and Guy Hogue. I would like to find some Starks but I have yet to find a confirmed pair.

. I would like to find some Starks but I have yet to find a confirmed pair.

The only documented Stark grips I know of are the K and the J from LAPD chief Davis in the 1996 Faintich auction - and he misspelled Stark's name in his letter! (Davis was an old man by then.)

I've seen pictures of a couple of grips very much like the K frame owned by our Mike Priwer, but without documentation or a claim of the maker.

Clint Smith wrote that he had a pair on a model 29, but the digital copy of the article didn't have a picture. If anyone knows Clint to ask him, many would be grateful. I know he posted here a decade or so ago, but I didn't know to ask then.

Not sure what the wood is but light color. The checkering area looks to be smaller than one normally sees. Here is a set for comparison.

I was sold two sets. The checkering can be somewhat inconsistent. The set on the left are what I have posted on the gun above.

Color looks much darker in the new pics. Got to love those deep sunk screws.

It was probably the lighting when I took the picture on my kitchen counter lol

Here you go, I just took these while sitting in front of my computer.
