I watched the new Yellowstone movie on Wednesday night. There was a scene in the movie, of a funeral, with a haunting music; being played in the background. I thought the music was outstanding. Did any of you like it, or am I a little strange on funeral music. I think it was from a native American, but don't remember the name. Google has info on the artist.
I like the show and scenery too, not fantastic, but pretty good. Mikey

I watched most of the first part, didn't thrill me. If you are into profanity (seemed like every other word started with F), power, greed, corruption, sex, etc, then by all means. The same plot lines as others with different names just set in modern day - powerful native son, owns everyone and everything including female governor, wants more power, opposes new land development, family is a mess, some love him, some hate him, internal struggles, throws money around - yadda yadda yadda.

Thanks 6518john, for providing the link/music. I had never heard that, before listening to it on tv; the other night. Seems like most people like the music, but not thrilled with the show. Mikey

Regardless of the music...the TV program was pretty good. Loved the scene with granddad n grandkid going on the cattle drive. Good dialog.

Recorded the first episode, stuck with it to see if it got any better-for me it didn't. I'm out however I do agree that the funeral music was a great piece of music. Up until I saw this show I think my favorite film music was the ending to "Unforgiven"-Claudia's Theme written by Lennie Niehaus and Clint Eastwood.

I've liked Sheridan's "Hell or High Water" and "Wind River" and I liked his acting in the horrible "Sons of Anarchy" but this show was awful in my view.
