The Oscars

I though Ellen ordering pizza was kinda funny but that's all I saw of it.

I watched The Walking Dead and afterwards, The Talking Dead. I didn't know the Oscars were on until the host of Talking Dead mentioned it. I still didn't care to watch a bunch of mostly Hollywierd liberetards congratulate each other.

CW

Once we got more than 3 channels I never watched it again. Sometimes with only 3 channels it was the best thing on? Yikes.

Jim Carrey isn't automatically always hilarious, but he was last night when he did that great, and weird, Bruce Dern impersonation. But I fell asleep and read online later that McConaughey won, which I wanted to see even though I didn't see his movie or any others nominated.
Here's 21 seconds of Jim Carrey....

Nobody in my house cares, so we never watch the Oscars or any of the other self-congratulatory Hollywood extravaganzas. Just rented McConaughey's film last week to see what all the buzz was about and after about thirty minutes the wife looked over at me and said "I'm sure glad we didn't pay good money to see this garbage." and we turned it off. A truly pointless movie IMHO (what I saw of it), and even though the $1.25 rental was insignificant we felt ripped off.

After this twerp did what he did after Sandy Hook, nothing he does is funny any more.

well I for one was upset that Bad Grampa lost out to Dallas buyers club for the Make Up and Hair Styling award. And Johnny Knoxville didn't even get a nomination for Best Actor. Whatupwiththat?????

Let's see...an awards show with people I don't care for, who made movies I don't care for, about characters who I don't care for, presided over by someone I don't care for....nope, I missed it. I would like to see a list of sponsors on here, though.

Wifey has it on while I sit and read so I have an "awareness" of it. Same with the Olympics.

I watch every year, like I do Wimbledon, the NCAA basketball championship and the World Series. It's part of the things we do together as a society. The wheel of the year, if you will...
