The Penn is mightier than the gun ...

I wouldnt waste time or money on her and thanks to her. Too many available nice ladies still out there.

Charlize is no dummy. I think she's quite bright, but intensely self serving, and she knows which way the wind blows in Hollywood, although I sense in her attitude in interviews that she knows very well how hypocritical and plastic it is.

She is aggessive and is astrologically a Leo, with a strong ego. She likes to shock people, too. I admire her looks, but there are other women I'd get along better with.

She made a point of being seen with Nelson Mandela before his prolonged home confinement (due to illness) prior to his recent death. Maybe I'm being cynical, but I think this was largely to court liberal favor to further her career and fame.

She is beautiful, articulate, and aggressive. I hope she doesn't make a career out of promoting gun control. Too many would be seduced by her comments.

BTW, she learned to do a US accent and vastly expanded her English vocabulary by watching US TV. (I heard her say so in an interview on TV.)

Sean Penn seems a poor match for Theron. I suspect that she's using him for publicity and that their affair will be fairly short-lived. This is, of course, personal speculation based on what I've seen of her public life and her astrological sign. That's as close as I'm apt to get to her, and I don't regret it. I think that like the Zambezi River shark, she's a man-eater. :D (That shark is basically just the Bull Shark, C. leucas, but it ranges far up South African rivers. TV angler Jeremy Wade caught one in excess of 13 feet in a S. African river. The Bull Shark has one of the highest levels of testosterone of any known animal, and is considered to be very dangerous to humans.

Hmmm...how long has it been since our last shark thread?

"Cowardly killing machines." I like the line. Evidence of long deep thought & feelings. He couldn't possibly just be repeating talking points he's been coached on. Naa, no way.

My wife's good friend Niki directed Charlize in "north Country." I met her at a party at niki's house and I have to say, she is a friendly, down to earth gal. The fact she doesn't like guns doesn't bother me...just like it doesn't bother me that all my wife's friends don't like them either...we are all products of our upbringing and environment. And lucky for me, my wife respects my interest in guns. And she likes paintings more than sculptures so I think I'm pretty safe.

lets roll our eyes and snort derisively ,check .
lets forget the has-beens and wannabes ,check.
lets all go out and buy more guns ,check:)
id like to see what guns he destroyed though , kinda like a carwreck, i just gotta sneak a peak as im going by .cant help it ,im a little morbid.:)

I think it would be supremely funny for Penn to be arrested for admitting that he has guns in violation of the law. (Of course that won't happen, but it would be hilarious.)

Like most other Hollyweird relationships, this one will be over once the paparazzi find new "celebs" to photograph and the media spotlight shifts to someone else....unless they are one or both involved in battery on each other.

I think Penn is a good actor...as is Theron...but simply because they are both good actors doesn't mean they have brains, morals, common sense, or decency. In fact, in Hollyweird, that would make them a rarity if they did!

HUH? An attractive young woman causing a middle-aged man to say and do things that make him look foolish? Really?!? And in Hollyweird no less. Who'd've ever thunk it?
