For those who choose to, who does the best rendition of the internal lock plug. Who has the best color match, best fit? What are the forum favorites.

Thanks octagon. I saw that thread and I am leaning that way but I thought I might try to get some opinions on the others. I recently bought my first post lock S&W and I really thought that I could just ignore the lock but my eyes are drawn to it! I don’t think that the lock is unreliable, I just think it’s ugly.

I was in the same situation as you with my 500, my only IL gun. After researching it a fair bit, I realized that by eliminating one hole, I’d be creating another. Plugging the IL means removing the flag and creating another hole or gap between the hammer and frame. A centennial is the only gun where the plug makes sense to me. My 500 still has the IL.
