The Rainbow Bridge has another traveller. *UPDATE*

Very sorry to hear this. Cycle of life but hard to deal with. We have lost many cats over the years as they come by to seek out food and shelter. We continue to gain new cats to replace those that cross the bridge. Wonderful times with them and great memories. But the losses are hard to deal with.

Three kittens joined us two years ago and five kittens joined us last year. This year I pulled a 3 week old kitten out of our soffit. She, named Lucki, just turned 3 months.

*UPDATE* No Kevin did not return.
Kevin's mate Bronco has steadily gone down hill since Kevin's passing. Bronco's behavior has changed and he is losing weight, it appears that he is depressed and missing his buddy.
I really hadn't planned on getting another cat and I'm not sure if it will help or make the situation worse.
I mentioned to a friend that I was considering trying to find a kitten for Bronco and one thing led to another and yesterday some friends showed up with 2 12-14 week old male littermates. It was a difficult choice because both were very outgoing, energetic and not shy of people at all but I did finally choose this little guy. His name will be LINUS as he is a FeLINUS. I sequestered him in another room for the night to give Bronco a chance to get used to his smell and his meows. Boy does he have a voice. I've got LINUS out in the livingroom today in a wire crate to give Bronco a chance to get used to him but also to protect Linus in case Bronco doesn't like the little invader. At this point Bronco is hiding and will not even come out to investigate. I don't expect it to happen overnight but I hope this brings a little life back into Bronco.

Looking at those pictures I'd wager Linus wants out of his cage and onto your lap. Hope Bronco accepts him soon.

You have my sincere sympathy. It is not easy losing one of your furry friends. I have been through it myself.
