I agree - it must be the Model 73 revolver.

I think the M73 is a good suggestion, but isn't it too early for this section?
Here's a photo of Mike Priwer's M73:

The suggestion by KurtC on the fixed sight M25 (Mountain Gun barrel profile) is pretty good, I lust after this gun:

My own humble suggestion if this M627 Hunter with 8 inch barrel, supposedly only 2 made, but I've only seen one....![]()

Here's a couple more hard to find - not made in much quantity models, also on the list:

When I bought this 2.5 inch 629-6 a couple of years ago, the dealer said it was one of a batch of only 200 made special for some distributor. I don't know if this is true or not, but it is the only fixed sight 629 I've ever seen. The dealer had three of them. Does anyone know what distributor this model was made for, and how many were actually made?

Depending upon whether my concern is two-legged critters or four-legged critters, I carry this with either Blazer .44 Specials with the 200 grain Gold Dot, or Federal Castcore 300 grain lead flatpoints. It kicks a lot with the 300 grain bullets, but it is a lot more manageable than a Model 329.
You didn't say what that last one was, SmithNut.
How about those grips?
