In MA, trout fishing season in rivers and brooks opens today.
I thought Ma stopped the opening day years ago. I worked in Ma all my life, bought a hunting and fishing license every year for 40 years.

Since I wasn't taken in by that evil original poster, I decided to post what I did, fishing, hook, line and sinker. A little joke.
No opening days, the only thing that changes is the trout catch limit between April and September.
But I believe Quabbin may have some different setup.
