I’ve been putting off buying a modern sporting rifle until now. I saw a rebate for a red dot. I know absolutely nothing about this “platform” or the “ controls”that are on it. I will be spending some time with it and familiarize myself with it before taking it anywhere. I went to get the FPC but the salesman spent a lot of time with me and convinced me that the Response was way to go.
Two questions I have so far are, one, what to attach a sling to. I don’t see swivels. Second I found this paper in the box when I got home. Is this a repaired gun or is this just a pick ticket from the factory? I will be working on getting the rebate shortly so more questions might be coming.

That could be for the out of battery discharge recall. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SrJ_2lwFcIA"]This video details the changes[/ame].

The stock on the Response looks like it has provisions to either feed a sling strap through or a QD socket to use. You can buy your preferred method of sling attachment point for the M-Lok handguard.

The ticket is for a recall for an bolt issue. Nothing to be concerned with. As for a sling, the stock has two provisions for a sling attachment you'll just need a QD for the handguard.
