The Right Springs for Model 33-1 J Frame ????

Cleaning up a long-time resident of the back of the safe: a 33-1 38 S&W J-frame.

I'd like to replace the hammer spring and trigger return spring and I've been using Wilson Combat springs for the last 3 or 4 38 special J's I've worked on.

Just would like to check with folks that the Wilson packet of 8 lb. hammer spring and a selection of trigger return springs (I usually go with 14 lb.) are okay to use in this revolver.

Better safe than sorry, it's a nice little gun in decent shape.

The springs for all center-fire J-frames are the same, regardless of caliber. If you want to replace the springs use factory springs! After-market springs are no better than factory springs, just different.
