I'm not sure anyone knows for certain what the poster known as The Ringo Kid is doing or looking for. One of the joys of the anonymous internet . . .

I like that. Anonymous internet. It sure ain't like talking to someone face to face is it? sometimes thankfully. Hopefully whatever he may be searching for he finds. I think most people do want some happiness though.

....that we realize that he is at a crisis state in his life. And he's been part of the community here for a while. Many people here have problems and I think it's right to show some concern that he is getting whatever help he needs to move on.

Do you realize every picture he has ever posted has been copied from another website?

Has he ever given proof of any of the firearms he claims to own? Like a $25,000 WW2 sniper rifle?

And I know some members sent Ringo money when the cat "Shasta" died or as Ringo claimed, the Vet killed her.

Yeah, I'd sure hate to be face to face with some of you in your bathrobes or skivies. You wouldn't care to be seein' me either.
He used to post a lot of movie trivia and share pics of his movie posters, etc.
I haven't seen any of that in a while.
Hope he's good and keeps his head screwed on tight.

Oops, and don't I look the fool. I haven't read all he's posted but was curious about Shasta and Sabrina. Were they cats, wives, girlfriends?

I don't know what's going on with Carl, but I have a hard time believing he's a troll, if that's the right word for what people seem to think he's doing. A person would have to put a lot of effort into creating a whole persona to fool so many people for so long. With his post count and the lengthy dialogs he has engaged in with many of us here, I would say it would be a full time discourse to the exclusion of everything else. I, for one have faith in who he says he is, but I think he is just a little scattered right now. Chin up, Carl...hope to hear from you soon friend.

Not to pile on, but from the very beginning I have felt some of these "tales" have been too.......suspicious.

Too many circumstances that always come together to elicit some type of sympathy from the board.

I never said or implied that Carl is a troll. My point is that he can't keep his stories straight so why believe anything he posts?
