Seems a number of young men turned up drowned and may be linked across the country. At the hands of???

Hopefully it's just the facts.

Over the past few years in Minnesota, there have been quite a few deaths that fit that pattern, young men, often intoxicated, end up in the drink. It happens often enough to be a “thing”, with speculation about foul play, but rarely any evidence, that gets reported in the press at least.

The smiley faces are new to me, however.

I saw on the news that a couple of retired detectives have been looking into this and they seem to think that could be a "gang" of serial killers doing this. It seems there are a lot of the deaths that are very similar and a smiley face is always somewhere around where it happens.

Interesting that a similar pattern exists in northern Mexico, been going on for over thirty years that I know of. Not necessarily connected to outright criminal organization, purely a cultist sort of abduction and murder.
