Obama and his posse have been doing a good job of getting around the Constitution without any help. The real disaster is she'll be on the court long after BO is gone.....if he goes.
I know this is not directly about the 2nd Amenent, but what part of the constitution is he getting around?
How about:
Amendment 16 - Status of Income Tax Clarified. 2/3/1913.The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration.
Who thinks she wont be confirmed? Just a show and gives the politicans a crack at publicity. The thing that I dont like is her statements, (rumored to be at least 7 different occasions) that her being latino gives her better insight on "judgeing". Now, just what and how should anyones race influnance your decision on interpiting consitutional law? That fact alone is scary to me!
Barb, this is taking money not giving it away, or running private enterprises. Am I missing something?
None of that is unprecedented, nor is it unconsitutional, even if it is bad policy. Franklin Roosevelt took over Montgomery Ward in 1944, carrying the CEO out of the building in his swivel chair.Lets see, taking over private companies, car manufacturers, banks. Where in the consititution does the government have the power to give money to private companies?
Then fire and hire excs. for those companies?
What part of the consititution authorizes national healthcare? How about making treaties with other countries without senate approval? Is that enough for now? I may get sick and ruin my keyboard if I go on.

WHat treaties has Obama made that are effective without Senate consent?

Ever heard of the Commerce Clause of the U.S. Constitution?
