Watched this last night, very good movie. It is based on a true story out of North Dakota dealing with animal rights activism. To me this is a 'Red Flag' law dealing with in this case with horses.

Absolutely amazing that things like this can happen and people just take it. If you watch this lock up your shootin irons cause it will make you hot under the collar. It is on Netflix.
Good acting and definitely tense. Good ending.

Stand your Ground

Thanks for the recommendation.

We've been watching a lot of "N" lately.

If you want to watch something that has a lot of twists
and turns, and keeps you on the edge; The Stanger.
I think it was 10 episodes.

I too watched this last night as well and it certainly was well done and well acted....the one thing that was left as a loose end was the vetrinarian that was instigating all of the seizures.....

A red flag put in place for livestock..........a precursor to the same for firearms.

The SPCA is loaded with folks who like to allege cruelty/neglect of animals. They seem to be spring loaded on the issue of horses. Naturally, the vast majority barely recognize what a horse is let alone know how they should be kept. Allegedly, very little of the money they collect actually goes to the care of animals.

One guy posted a large sign in his pasture nearest the road stating that his animals had ready access to food, water and medical care and that folks should mind their own business.

An SPCA "activist"/member filed a complaint on our operation. I met with the animal control officer and the "activist" at the property and immediately served the "activist" with a written No Trespass Notice. She still wanted to take part in the inspection until the ACO informed her that if she didn't leave the property immediately, she'd be arrested. After she left, the ACO told me he wished other people did what I'd done. No issues noted in the formal inspection.

That said, there are valid cases of animal abuse, including horse operations.

SPCA or HSUS? HSUS is a known bunch of vegan nutters that has no history of actually caring for animals.

The horse contingent is truly nutty especially re "wild" horses. Horses as we know them were not on the american continents until introduced by Europeans. Wild horses out west are highly destructive to habitat but absolutely nothing can be done to eradicate the problem. The vast majority of true horse nuts are women who buy a horse and can't afford the upkeep and vet bills. They also don't give the horse enough exercise. This type of neglect and abuse is OK but NEVER try to send a horse to the slaughter house.

Truly Nutty!

The wife and I watched it last nice. Good flick and it was worth the watch!
Liked what happened in the end,;) No spoiler.....

Horse Shoe Luck

Outstanding. What a Horse kicker of a Movie.

So I take it that my "No Trespass" Signs mean nothing.

WR Moore - "immediately served the "activist" with a written No Trespass Notice".
I got to figure this out, just in case.

Thank you
