The Tiny House Movement ... not so new!

Some of you may have run across shows on cable TV about VERY tiny houses. We're talking broom closet tiny.

Well, everything old is new again.

My great grandfather built a tiny house way back in 1935.

I am lucky enough to be in possession of it.

We're talking tiny. Wicked tiny.




But wait, there's more! (No ... sorry ... there is not a set of steak knives involved ...)

It's not just a tiny house ... it's a tiny house model of a real house that he built. And the house is still standing!




I don't know about you, but I think that's pretty cool.

What are the white doors on the parking lot side? Basement access?


I agree that is a neat house.

I'm going to guess the side door is an entrance and has 3 steps up to the kitchen or close to it and possibly the staircase to the basement to the left. Looks like the same arrangement I had on my first house.
