15/22 with the Zip .22 attached.

It's a little over kill for a .22, plus it adds weight to the fore end of the gun. But it's tactic00L for the time being.

i would just carry a second magazine--sorry but i wouldnt do it,heard the zip has way too many bugs, i think some of us tend to go too far after all its a .22 not a battle rifle

lotta guys got more in the 15-22 than i have in my hi speed AR's! but then again the only thing i have on mine is an EOtech EXPS-0 w/mag (more expensive than the gun) a Pilot II and some Krylon.

I really don't see the point in putting on DD and Troy and all the 'Tier 1' stuff on a .22.

but it's your gun, not dogging it...well a little due to that thing up front..but do what you want with it, just have fun and be careful.

my g'pa always would say when we didn't like something that someone had on anything..bike, gun, etc....."I love fruit....just don't like oranges". didn't make sense for a long time, but a polite way of saying i don't care for your changes/additions, etc.

I feel bad for the guys who actually do go out and spend all their money on the 15/22. Although its a fun little gun to plink around. I dont think i'd be reaching for it in a life or death situation. And surely i wouldnt reach for it when the SHTF. I think id have it for if all else fails.

Even Billy thinks that's too much!

This set up is ILLEGAL unless you have the right paper work.. If you do not have said paper work, I would remove the pics NOW... Evidence of you being in violation of federal firearms laws is not something id want to broadcast

Cooooooool set up .........;

if your 10 year old is tasked with providing "suppressive fire" when TSHTF.......

I'm.....ROTFLOL!!!!!!

Sorry it's a bit tooooo much for me.....but whatever floats your boat!

And unless he has the proper paperwork (Form 1?) the ATF&E and their Federal friends are gonna ruin his buzz for about 10 years.

It is illegal to do what he did unless he has registered it as a SBR. Even if he doesn't ever use it like it is shown.

Some reports have ATF investigations about unwed Short uppers and AR rifle lowers in the same house, even without any documented proof they've been put together.

The law is easy, don't get on the wrong side of it.

i want one of these just for fun and missed out on getting one from joebob yesterday.

that being said, please delete your pic unless you have a tax stamp for the zip SBR. i'd hate to see you get 10 years.

Keep your ducks in a row guys, u'll be alright. Also its good to note, not to even keep a short "barrel" in your house even if it's isnt mounted to something. Although its not mounted to anything, they could always assume you have it with the "intentions" of someday using it, lol.

PS: I never once said this was "my" setup. I just said it was an ultimate setup.

So are you lying to us... or to yourself? You say it isn't your set up, but let me re-quote your original post where you say it's tactic00L for the time being :

It's a little over kill for a .22, plus it adds weight to the fore end of the gun. But it's tactic00L for the time being.

Well it's a good idea to cover your bases, although just saying it might not be yours doesn't really protect you. If that is your house in the background, if you bought a Zip in the past. If they come nocking and find a 15-22 set up like that in your safe it will be troubling times for you...

Even if it's not yours, you potentially brought a pile of dung onto your buddy...

Considering all of the above, i should be perfectly fine. That picture looks as much like my house as it looks like the white house, lol. As for "my" buddy, well once again. I never said it was "my" buddy who owned it. Now lets not continue to jump conclusions or make it appear as someone said something they didnt.

Yes its tactic00L for the time being. Most people tend to think things are tactic00L for a short time and then they change their minds. With that being said, i'm sure he/she will change his/her mind on the idea over time.
