Just a heads up for anyone interested. The new issue of Firearms News has an article on the USAF Model 15 Combat Masterpiece by Leroy Thompson. Lots of good info and pics.

I just looked cover to cover on the sept. Issue and found nothing about the usaf model 15. What publication are you referring too?

I carried one while serving in the USAF Security Police; always wish I had a 1911. They adopted the M9 not long after I got out.

Thanks for the update. If I am correct this is the old shot gun news that you are referring too. I am really interested in any information on the usaf guns.the only place that carries firearms news is thirty miles away.
