This is really sobering. Click on the link and find the city you went to high school and look at the names. Click on the name and it will give details of the death.

Vietnam Wall

First click on a state. When it opens, scroll down to the city and the names will appear. Then click on their names. It should show you a picture of the person, or at least their bio and medals.

This really is an amazing web site. Someone spent a lot of time and effort to create it. I hope that everyone who receives this appreciates what those who served in Vietnam sacrificed for our country.

The link below is a virtual wall of all those lost during the Vietnam war with the names, bio's and other information on our lost heroes. Those who remember that time frame, or perhaps lost friends or family can look them up on this site.

Pass the link on to others, as many knew wonderful people whose names are listed.

Thanks for posting.

All gave some, some gave all

1 of 100 served in combat. More than 50% of US
combat Viet vets are dead.

Everyday is a gift! Thanks to all my Brothers in Arms!

God Bless!

I found one friend's name, but there is another name that is missing. Robert Sandoval was severely wounded in Vietnam, but died of his wounds Stateside. Just because he was evacuated from Vietnam before he died doesn't mean that he wasn't a casualty of the war. My mother and Bob's mother were good friends. If I don't stop now you are going to see some language that would make George Patton blush.

There were a bunch of names like your friend who succumbed to his wounds in the U.S. that have been added to the real wall but perhaps not to the virtual walls. The VA might be able to tell you more.

I'll see what they can tell me. Bob didn't deserve to die like he did, but he deserves to have his name on he wall.
