The Walking Dead premieres Sunday on AMC

BruceHMX;Your right on the 68 version I had forgot that. A neat twist would be a zombie hoard attacking zoo animals. That would be totally crazy to see. Adds a new meaning to lions, tigers and bears...lol...

That would be a great twist! I think that it would be very cool to see a grizz or a lion take out a whole bunch of Zs before finally getting overwhelmed my them. Even more interesting would be if the animals "turned" like humans do!

Can you imagine throwing a zombified grizzly bear into the mix? Wow!

You might want to check out "The Rising" and "The City of the Dead" by Brian Keene. They aren't great but they do present an interesting take on the subject. Short answer EVERYTHING that dies comes back. I suspect that if he had a strong minded editor and cut it down to one fat novel instead of making two (overlapping) books out of it, he might have had a really epic story. As is they are generally interesting, have a disturbing premise, take a couple interesting turns, but Keene sometimes repeats himself and wanders a little.

Regarding The Walking Dead; I love the comic, have read all of them, and am pretty happy with the TV show so far. It is Hollywood so they of course get some of the gun things wrong, but overall I think that they got more things right.
