So ive put 200 or so rounds thru my Shield. ZERO issues of any kind. I put the Apex sear in there and the trigger is awesome. reset is very good (i never had a problem with my other M&Ps on reset) . its pure M&P. points naturally and is super easy to carry. i hip carried it today for about 5 hours. forgot it was there.

This is the wifey after her running two mags thru it to get used to it.

Evan,

I've been following your reports on the shield and watched a few of your videos. Nice job.

Things like this take work and I for one appreciate the time you're taking to educate us.

Well done!

Great videos Evan. I own 6 M&Ps and want to add the Shield in both 9 and 40. I'm not a Beta person but feel the M&P system is solid. Should I be concerned buying them now?

Great Post.

I'm drooling for one. So far can't put my hands on one. I'm on my LGS's watch list. Cannot wait. I love my FS S&W M&P 9.

Yep and what I have been saying, the Shield is a perfect lady's pistol choice.

No .. It is just a slim M&P not really a beta design from what I have been told.

The guys whom I know have bought the Shield have been reporting how dirty their guns and mags are. I would assume that the techs are truly testing each unit thoroughly. I am OK with that. I'd rather buy a *dirty/well used/tested* gun then have to bother sending it back due to design issues. I suspect they learned a good lesson from the BG.380 a few years ago. They used the same stock sear that is in all M&Ps . I had mine replaced, over travel shortened etc and my Shield is way better now then when it was stock :D It's just AWESOME.

Awesome videos! I like that moving and shooting practice... I haven't done that and you are crazy accurate...:D

I presume you are both aware of the serious risks associated with shooting while pregnant and decided they were acceptable?

Loved the vids and I love my Shield.

I'm going to get a new pistol, not decided on M&Pc or M&Pc Shield.

I loved my 9C but couldnt get used to carrying a double stack IWB holster. Shield fits just right and is just as accurate, night and day difference wearing it in my holster. The few rounds i gave up makes up for itself in comfort. On paper they dont seem to be far apart in size but in person its a pretty major difference, hope this helps

Thanks for the input, it does help! That being said, I haven't purchased a M&Pc or Shield yet. I'm waiting until my LGS gets in the Shield so I can make the decision then.

The Shield is most likely going to be the one I purchase, due to the many great reviews it's getting on S&W forum.

Do you think the baby can become addicted to shooting S&W's before being born??? :D

That would explain my kids attraction to them.....
