Think Pink

finally picked my g/f's up yesterday....i bought her 3 more mags and put on some spare KAS rail guards and foregrip

gun looks pretty good, not sure how durable the finish will be in the long run, but for her it should be fine

My g/f just picked hers up yesterday. No rounds through it yet but we are hoping to take it out this weekend or early next week.

I have a thread in a local forum about how the wife really loved firing
the 15-22 a couple of weeks ago.

If she sees this, I'll be out a few bills.

Quick, hide it!

I am so glad I am divorced now. My ex would have made me buy her one of those. Just think if they could use that camo but substituted different colors for the pink. How cool would a OD green or a Coyote brown look?

I hope my 10 year old grand daughter doesn't see this or she'll expect Pa Pa to buy here one. I probably will!! She has a way of doing that to me! LOL

Super cool. Time to drop a few more dollars on my daughters ever growing collection.
On a side note, not trying to jack the thread. Look at that third pic with the pink 15-22. Is that not the best sales photo ever for a Magpul AFG. it illustrates perfectly the shortcoming of vertical grips.

Wow, didn't notice that before haha. Yeah, looks uncomfortable. Could eventually mess up your wrist over time(maybe).

I'd be more concerned with the fact that she has no eye protection than an uncomfortable wrist.

One happy 12YO daughter. One broke dad. The M&P15-22 all dressed in foliage green was awesome....right up until I told her the had a pink one out now. Yeh well its only money and you cant take it with you.

not really sure why she should be wearing any.....but, ok

and yeah, i shoot thumb break and really prefer a stubby VFG over the AFG...actually, i could NEVER get used to the AFG no matter how many i bought....so on a whim i picked up a PTS stubby VFG at a funshow and have been using them ever since...but her, well, she refuses to try and basically demanded the KAC vfg for hers haha...i hated its length so it was ok.

i think we might cut hers down do an SBR when the suppressor comes in....since i'm doing a 6" barrel on mine as well, we might as well make them match. here's to hoping federal bulk stays subsonic in 6"!

Just a thought on the fore grip...maybe bring it in a little closer to the mag...I learned on AK's and I held the mag when I shot, MUCH more accurate in that configuration as the arms don't tire or stress as much. My fore grip is about midway or so on the rail.

i might give that a shot....i know, for me, when i shoot thumb break i HAVE to have it as far forward as i can....but for her using her style grip, that might be a good idea.

she shoots well enough with it as is...she can stand and smack our 200yd target 9/10 times with the factory sites
