I can understand your point; as a matter of fact it sounds kinda creepy, like they want to case the place or something.
To be honest though, I was gonna PM you about your stands. They look great from the pictures you posted.
Do you ship them all over the place or just locally? I wouldn't mind tryin' one out. (maybe that's why others wanted your location.) Still they should've given a reason.

Over the past few days, I've gotten PM's and e-mails from other forum members. I don't recognize their forum names.

All they say is..."What's your location".

No reason is given, no signature, nothing.

Am I weird or something? If I'm sending somebody a message asking their location...wouldn't it be common courtesy to state why you're requesting such information? Like...I'm interested in purchasing the rifle (or whatever) you have advertised on S&W Forum?????

I'll tell you what I find irritating. When someone makes a general comment and someone else takes it as a personal offense.

Now I understand that although nuances such as tempering tonal inflections are generally lost in translation on the internet, at least give the person the benefit of doubt that no offense was intended simply for the sake of civility.
