GOT IT !!! Sorry for all the messing around.Well 9 years ago I sold my 686 to a buddy and have always regreted selling this gun, I bought it back in 1986. I was talking to him last week and asked him if he still had it and he said yes, asked if I could buy it back and he sure "it's your gun" believe it or not the last time it was fired was by me, it's been in a safe all this time. Shot the heck out of it this past Sunday and all in the black , it's like I never stoped shooting it. It's a 1986 686 no dash. It's not to often you get one back, I'm happy as a clam!!!! Pigman

You are one of the few that get a second chance with the same gun. Enjoy and don't sell it, you won't be lucky the second time around.

A good friend here on the forum sold a beautiful model 60 to a guys many years ago. Some time back the guy gave him back the gun. He didn't sell it back, he gave it to him. How lucky is that. It still looks new.

Nice looking 686!
I sold this gun years ago to fund a guitar purchase, and me a my Buddy were trying to remember what he gave me for the gun, we came up with a close figure. I still have the guitar and now I got the gun back, I do feel down right fortunate, cause I always regreted selling it, it's a good shooter! Having a friend give back a mod60 is cool as heck! My son will no doubt get my 686 someday as I will not sell it again, gave $200 for it back in 86 and it was only a couple of months old at that time, I have run a bunch of rounds out of it, and going to start doing it again.Won't make the same mistake twice !!
