...we have a beamed ceiling...if it collapses...might be leaving in a box...

...we had nearly eight feet of snow on it in 2003...

...my wife said she heard a huge cracking sound that night...

Prayers for a quick healing. We had a ceiling collapse earlier this year. Only it happened in the garage and we were both in the house.

It was a mess cleaning up all the sheet rock and insulation but I'm glad nobody was standing standing under it when it came down.

You know how sometimes you fall and it doesn't hurt, but if it's a GOOD fall, you about kill yourself. Well, it looks like you got a GOOD conk on the head from that sheet rock.

WOW...that's sure to bring up a lot of "talking points" even after it heals.

That's old school for sure. My wife tool a nasty fall and opened up about a inch and a half gash on her forehead. Went to the ER and after a CAT scan they used super glue and steri strips to close it up. Sheesh, I could have done that myself (except for the CAT scan) and saved the ER cost
