THIS is why I watch FOX news

What a maroon. A more useful comment might have run something like this:

"Have you looked at a map of Maine or some Google Earth pictures? The place is covered in forest with a billion places to hide. The suspect is local, so I'm betting he knows more than a few. There's plenty of game and water, so this may take a while."

I have noted that LE in that part of Maine are barely using their radio system. The dispatcher is often asking officers to call in using cellphones. This could be because:

1) They know their Broadcastify feed is still running and they don't want a bad guy monitoring them using a cellphone app;

2) The guy has army training. If he has signals training, he might have a scanner of his own;

3) The coverage of their radio system is poor in many places, so a cell contact cuts down on asking for repeats over the radio all night.

Fox doesn't have a monopoly on stupid. CNN had a video which they said their expert would point out what stood out to him about the photo of the suspect. Apparently it was that he was wearing a brown hoodie and "tactical" pants. A if his outfit had anything to do with the shooting.

Today i listened to one of their paid politicians say assault rifles were as easy to buy as a bottle of water. Took it for what it was worth.

I saw some displayed at the 711 right beside the breath mints at the cash register. Asked if they had any suppressors, they told me they expect some for Christmas.

They were talking about the shooter in Maine last night and had their "expert" Ted Williams on to explain why they had not yet caught the shooter.
Ted's response:
"He know where he is, but the police don't know where he is."
Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!! :rolleyes:

I wonder if he used to be a sportscaster. I don't remember who was covering it, but I was watching a football game a while back. He made the brilliant observation "team A is going to have a hard time winning if they don't score more than team B"

One of the "FBI Trained Experts" being interviewed on News Nation said
"it was a typical AR 15 type rifle with a 30 round magazine, so he could have had 40 or 50 rounds in the gun". :confused::rolleyes:

Here we go again . . . .

I'll allow the 'deer in the headlights syndrome' with people being drafted and drug in to these talking head interviews, but it sure makes their "experts" sound inept. And the political uproar is already building.

Was the magazine a TARDIS?

If wanting to watch as unbiased as i can get, will watch Brett Bair (5 pm c on Fox news). Can't beat the "Five" for entertainment, but it ain't all fact checked. If you ain't balancing your news sources, you're not really watching news.
