Those who shoot Sigma 9 and 40

Is the grip bigger on the 40 than the 9?

No. The only difference is barrel and magazine. Other than that identical.

Ah thanks. I want to get the 40 but I wanted to be sure that the grip is same as my 9.

yes and no the grip on the SD is thicker from side to side but shorter from front to rear. Overall its a little smaller than the Sigma not by much though. The grips on the SD and Sigma are not the same.

I think the op was referencing sigma 9 / sigma 40, not sigma vs sd. However the info is correct on all accounts.

Well, got the Sigma 40 on order at my local range. Right now it's back ordered so I'll get it when they get it.

My wife loves the grip on the Sigma 9. It is all she wants to shoot.

If I'm not mistaken the grip is slightly wider on the .40 than the 9mm. As the .40 mag doesn't fit in the 9mm frame. Not to worry it's not a noticeable difference.
