I used a hybrid holster for a bit and likely won't get another. You don't really get any of the pros of going with a complete leather or kydex holster. I found that with wear, the leather side formed and got looser and so it had too much "give" and the kydex side wouldn't mold to it anymore so the fit got pretty loose. It wasn't that specific holster or even that maker, but just my 2 cents

I have an Aliengear hybrid similar to the design of the holster above for my P365xl and I like it. The design gets the belt attachments away from the thickest part where the gun is (IMHO the biggest drawback of "summer special" style holsters), and everything that contacts your body is softer material. I also have similar holsters in all leather for other guns and they work well and are a little more flexible overall. I do like the rigid kydex/plastic for IWB with striker fired guns, and for re-holstering.

I've only used the Crossbreed version. While holsters of that design keep the pistol pretty tight to the body, they have a few disadvantages. I've carried concealed pistols up government sized 45s for days much longer the average CCW permit holder or constitutional carry practitioner carries - comfortably. My best IWB experience has been with the Bruce Nelson designs of Milt Sparks (leather) and JM Custom Kydex (Kydex, obviously). I adhere to the KISS principle for concealed carry.

I used IWB for many years. Used a Lobo Leather belt clip, just south on my right hip. All I did was cover it with my shirt. It must have worked, as no-one ever asked about it. Ray did GOOD WORK..

Dunno why some prefer a holster FOR CONCEALMENT whose "volume" is far greater than the gun they're trying to conceal. 🤷‍♂️

Get yourselves a "sticky" IWB holster. Or one with one (1!) j hook. They work! ✔️

Be safe.

2 points of attachment to the belt make it more stable. Spreading those two points out doesn't put all the bulk at one point like most single clip/loop holsters. They look bulky in pictures but carry the gun more comfortably in most cases.

Good explanation. Thank you. Perhaps I will try sometime.

Be safe.
