Three Dog Night was one of my favorite bands when I was a teen & they still are with me at 61. I saw them in 1972, I think, in Richmond, VA. They were fantastic! The drummer was great! Going to the concert was a birthday present from my girlfriend.

I had to learn how to play 'One' on the piano. I just looked at their discography and a lot songs brought back memories big time.

I saw them once in the late 60's, and two times in the early 70's, at Freedom Hall in Louisville, KY, loved that band. Go to you tube and listen to some of the songs from Suitable for Framing and It Ain't Easy albums. Good Feeling, Woman, Feeling Alright etc. etc.,. Gonna listen now to the Greatest Hits.

We saw them at a music festival a few years back. They were great. They have a massive library of hit songs that are still relevant and timeless. These are a few of my favorite songs (not just 3DN songs).

Vinyl? Sure do, at the peak of my collecting I had 350+ albums. Still have about 20 favorites... and a working turntable. I learned the intro to joy to the world on piano when it came out.

This thread brought back a flood of memories..although somewhat hazy..I still remembered the words to these songs. Sure thought I killed those brain cells a long time ago.

His keyboard performance made a huge impression on me. He and Jon Lord, "Lord Hammond" of Deep Purple laid much of the foundation for these bands. 67, cancer knows no age.

"Live At The Forum" and "Naturally" were the first two TDN albums I had. Bettering many of the originals TDN were kings of the cover.

For me their sound went off the tracks by 73 or 74, but I still love their earlier albums.

My wife and I went to see them twice in Atlanta circa '71 and '72.

Three Dog Night and CCR were our two favorite groups.
