Absent Comrade
While they certainly are desireable and make a lot of sense, (I own a 3" 66-3 lew horton special), why not consider a 3" model 36 until you can find one? I also own a 3" model 36. Its a lot lighter and even handier than my 66-3 or a 4" m&p I own. Yes, it`s a 5 shot versus 6, but as a defense gun I doubt what little you would shoot it with hot ammo would hurt it. Something to think about.
