Three years ago today...

Thanks again for the nice comments. We have indeed been blessed. I appreciate all of the accolades, but I gotta tell ya. What we have done adopting this little boy is a drop in the bucket to the sacrifices that I see many of the foster families giving. There are several people that I know who have adopted more than 6 children and still have another 6 or so foster children in their homes as well. Many of these are special needs children. I am so thankful that there are those capable of giving so much of themselves, for I don't have the strength required. Those are the truly special people, we are just ordinary folks who are just happy to have a child in our lives.

I have three sons in their 30's who refuse to get married, so I have no grandchildren. When, and if, I'm so blessed, I'd want a grandson that looks just like your son. He is a handsome little guy. He looks like he would be a terrific Marine!
