.38 M&P Model of 1905 Target 6" blue shipped May 14 to Emil Linck in Hamburg, Germany. Herr Linck advertised as an importer. The gun has German proof marks.

Ha Ha. Just realized I posted this on July 10. The 110th anniversary of the 134 degree day in Death Valley.

Well, I checked my spreadsheet. I have guns from '12, '14, '15, a bunch from 1917 (gee I wonder why?), '18, and '20. But no '13s.

Yours's? This dang spell checker is defective, it's perfectly happy with that!
 
There is something special about guns from that era. My only 1913 piece is a 5" M&P in 32-20.

From the same era (5 years either way ) I have a 1909 New Service, 6" M&P .38, Colt Police Positive .38 S&W, some Colt and S&W 1917s and a 1903 .32 Pocket Auto.

All of them are great shooters. Owning stuff like this gives you a sense of history.
