Would love to see your guns that shipped in 1956. Maybe some 1st year .44 Magnums, etc.

My only 1956 is a Marlin 39A lever rifle.

Very nice gun.

I think there is a picture on this site, but haven't time to look.

I'll post the pic when I find it.

I have two 4" 38/44 Heavy Duties that are very close in serial number. Both date to 1956 if the serial number list is correct. I guess the proper designation would be pre model 20. Thus far I am not able to post pics on here but hopefully that will change soon.

This battered, old Combat Masterpiece shipped to Dave's Pawn Shop in Dallas, TX on September 20,1956 in an order for the Dallas Police Department.

Show your 1956 Guns

I've accumulated a fair number of 1956 guns as it's my birth year also. Plus, in my opinion, a heyday for fine firearms of all kinds!

A couple favorites include (of course), a K-22, along with a full choke monster of a turkey gun, the Winchester Model 12. I also have a really cool bit of history on the Model 12 as it was bought new and carried on many Michigan turkey hunts by a friend's father. Though very low quality, I have a number of pics of dead turkeys posed next to this M12 from the late 50's. Priceless.
