Jan & Rob of Simply Rugged are good people and my dealings with them on the 4+ Sourdough holsters I have purchased from them has been very professional, with fast delivery of a great product.
I haven't had the pleasure of dealing with Milt Sparks but will recheck his web site with my thanks to 'twigs' for his experience on a Summer Special II made for a like equipped Smith.
Pepper, to answer your question on why the revolver was returned. When I purchased my 325 and took it to the range, I discovered that I was unable to eject fired cases mounted on moon clips. Had to use a soft headed mallet to break them loose. Visited a local machinist who measured each of the chambers in the cylinder after I had marked them with a Sharpie so we could tell who was who. We discovered that 5 were uniform but that one was tighter, i.e., it would not accept a .475 gauge pin when the other 5 easily would.
Long story short, I called S&W Customer Service, explained my problem, and they in turn sent me UPS Express Pre-Paid Mailing paperwork and instructions. UPS here in Colorado Springs was very helpful and friendly; the revolver made it back to MA and in exactly one week I received it back from S&W with a note saying that a few cylinder had been installed. Great Service all around as far as I'm concerned. Hope to get to the range next week to restart my experience with this firearm.
Still exploring holster options. Appreciate those that have responded and hope that a few more members will also add their experience and suggestions.
Regards From Colorado,
