Rather than waist pixels keyboarding elaborate background situations, . . . what wristwatches are preferred by Navy SEALs? I'm pretty sure Smart watches wouldn't be worn because non-scrambled cell phones wouldn't be usable. And I doubt any would be a government issue. So what watches do most prefer?

Don't know about Navy Seals but this fat boy prefers a Rolex Seadweller circa 1996 with a nylon band Chevron™ - Bond | Crown & Buckle
Daily wearer nonstop. Used to take it off at night when I still had the heavy original oyster bracelet but the nylon is so comfortable and takes so much weight off the watch that I forget I'm wearing it. Plus te band goes through both pins so if one breaks (which has happened before when I caught it on a shroud 80 miles out in the gulf during an uncontrolled jibe) the watch ain't gonna go deep six on me.

You can go to most any bar in America tonight and after a few rounds are served there will be several Army/Navy/Special Forces/Black Op/Delta Force Seals at the bar. You can ask them in person!

I have no idea myself, but I do recall reading somewhere that the "G-Shock" series was popular with them?

Just like Sullivan County couldn't have held all the folks that claim to have been at Max Yasgur's farm.

PS: I haven't worn a wristwatch since I got my first cellphone.

I've seen the Casio G-Shock GWG-1000 1A3 mentioned in a number of military forums before.

I've never had one, but these are apparently very tough watches despite their huge size. Too big for me even if I had need for a tough watch.

FWIW.......I have a Luminox Navy Seal watch. That's what I wear. I swear by it.

As I look down at the watch and check the time in the middle of a long night, I can't help but remember something I read...

When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

From their website...

The Luminox Navy SEAL watch is the timepiece that made Luminox famous. In 1992, the Assistant RDT&E Officer for the Navy SEALs, Nick North, was asked to seek a more dependable watch for night missions and found the solution when he discovered Luminox. He worked with Luminox to develop a watch to their specifications and a revolution was born. For over 25 years, Luminox has partnered with the world’s toughest maritime commandos to continuously hone and refine a watch tough enough and useful enough to be considered “first-line gear” for the finest warriors.

If I want to impress the Ladies, I might wear my Rolex President.
Being a recovering Type A, I usually don’t wear a watch.
I have my iPhone, that’s Atomic Clock time.
Don Williams is living on Tulsa time.
I’m Living on Boulder time!
