Tin foil or aluminum foil? Recommendations?

Is tin foil the only proven method for protecting ones self from electromagnetic energy transmissions, black helicopters, and malicious government tracking devices, or can I use the regular kitchen-quality aluminum foil? Is one brand better than another?

I've been reading about the new 5G technology with its mini-transceivers popping up near every street corner, data mining utilizing AI to collect and analyze every detail of every person's daily communications and computer use, cell phone tracking via GPS devices in every phone or personal device, and so forth. All this makes me wonder just how long individual actions and thought processes will remain independent of governmental or corporate interference and/or control. Beginning to think I might need several really big rolls of tin foil (or an acceptable substitute).

Maybe there is a Luddite community nearby that I can join.

Maybe I should just open myself to the new wave of human existence, stop worrying and enjoy the good warm feeling of Big Brother's care and control.

Maybe I should just go to bed and get some rest.

It does not hurt to add an extra layer of armor plating around your home, but foil lining is needed to fill in the gaps.

There are plenty of things you can do to help protect your personal information, both practically and politically. None of them involve tinfoil.

But, people being people, as with firearms, most won't see the need.

Lead (Pb) is a preferable alternative to Sn (tin) or Al (aluminum) but it is heavy.

$90 per 1 lb. roll. Dentists use it to take impressions and it dosen't light up your filling like aluminum foil.

Go to bed and get some rest! Years ago one of the patients at a nursinghome I worked at was found outside "wandering" around completely wrapped in aluminum foil...when she was asked why, she stated she did not want to be abducted by aliens...she was promptly admitted to the mental health ward...

For larger projects Faraday Cages made of chicken wire can do the job. The trick is keeping it grounded when motion. I have an idea for a personal cage with spikes on your heels so that one foot will always be grounded. You just have to avoid sidewalks, parking lots, buildings. Of course,after the Apocalypse it will be easy to find clear ground to walk on.
