Here’s a heads up on a made for television series that came out here on 2010,supposedly it aired on CBS. I never knew about this until now.
It’s a mini series (10 episodes) about the building of Titanic and the people who built it. It’s was originally produced in Ireland and they even used the original dry dock at Harlan and Wolf in which the Olympic was built.
It circles around the lives of the blue color labor and the management side of the people who built it and it also deals with the labor and religious aspects of the day, Protestants and Catholics.
It only to my knowledge has one American actor in it and that is Chris Noth of Law and Order fame.
In my opinion while not 100% historically correct it is a very well done program.
Now here’s the catch, you can only see this? if you are streaming you television viewing and it can be found for free on Tubi television.
It really is a worthwhile program and it’s called,,,
Titanic Blood and Steel

My mistake,,,,12 episodes!,,,,Enjoy! ;)
Ivan I believe that is to be a bogus claim? Never heard or read anything in regards to such a claim. There were a lot of bogus claims made against that ship and why it sank.

I watched this series a while back and found it to be very well made. However, it is completely inaccurate. It is a good period piece, but a bad historical account of the ship.

Finished watching this series last night!
Very well done and I enjoyed it. No it’s no historically correct but it tells a very good story.
In the past reviews of this series I read that people were disappointed that they didn’t continue with a second season following what happened after the sinking. That would have made a great follow up for the story
But all in all it’s worth a look! ;)
