I started loading 9mm rounds this past Spring. I started with Unique, but a friend recommended Titegroup. Less powder is used with Titegroup, so more rounds loaded per pound of powder. I worked ups some rounds a couple of weeks ago and got to try them out this past weekend. I used my Speer (no.14) data. I loaded one group of 115 fmj over 4.1 grn of TG and the other groups was 115 fmj over 4.3 grn of TG (mixed brass with CCI SPP #500). I'm using 115 fmj because that is what I have "in stock" at the moment. I ran both groups through my Glock G17 and G19. All functioned well. When I did my part, They all grouped pretty well too. BUT, the 4.3 grn loads did seem a little more "snappy". If you are using TG for your 9mm/115grn loads (or 124 grn for that matter), could you please let me know what works for you? BTW, all of my 9mm reloading goes toward practice for IDPA. Thanks for any input.
