If you think about it. Would it be naive if us to think that Rooer would not have employed others to also make his stocks? I know he had others in the automatic side. So why not the revolver? These just aren't the the classics vintage set we have all come to love and appreciate? I just could not call them Rooer unless we had some better proof. But that's just my opinion. Great thread!

To the best of our collective knowledge, Walter Roper had two individuals making stocks for him. One doing the revolvers and one doing the semi autos. What folks sometimes fail to remember is that Roper made stocks himself (according to his book) and some he felt were not the greatest ever made. So maybe, just maybe, some of his early products are just not what we all might expect or have come to expect.
As far as club gun fan, he fell on his head into a S&W dumpster trying to fish out some old S&W pistol boxes so one must weigh everything he says with a grain of salt. I heard that the only reason that he is helping with the letters is that Roy Jinks found him going through his trash barrels and figured he was a homeless guy. Merely gave him a job because he felt bad for him.
