To Model 13 or not Model 13, that is the question..

I would pick up that 3" model 13 in a heartbeat. I am kind of partial to those 3" 13's and 65's.

Ok, dredging up this old thread. Actually should have noted this earlier, but just didn’t. Is there any significance to a 13-3 with the small logo on the thumb latch side versus the large logo on the side plate? Just happen to go, “hey, never paid attention to that” the other day.

So, local place has a 3” 13-3 in user condition. (Some scratches and end-of-barrel bluing wear, Pachmayr grips, no box, etc.). Priced at $625.

Neat fixed sight 357, might be a nice “no frills” carry piece for the woods.

Thoughts on that price?

JUMP on it! I certainly would at that price in my neck of the woods. The 3" version of the M13 is pretty hard to find these days.

I like the revolver .I would walk in with 5 $100 bills lay them on the counter and say ... this is all I have ... and see what transpires !

I got a Ruger Blackhawk (tagged $125) for $75 cash money on the counter once ...
Some dealers like Cold Hard Cash !

I have been jonesing for a 3" 13 but eventually bought a 2 1/2" nickel 19-5 because the 19-5 was $750 and 3" 13's were $1,200 +- on GI. It is my current EDC riding in a cross draw IWB as I type in my office.

A 3-inch K frame round butt seems to me to be the perfect carry revolver.

Just wish I had one....!
