Today we lay a Soldier to rest.

My dad was a World War II vet, saw things he never talked about. He came home from the war and continued with his life.
Went on to be a good man, husband, and father. He wasn’t a flashy person, more of a tortoise, than a hare. My brothers, and I didn’t get everything we wanted, but certainly were provided with everything we needed.
Recovery found me in 1985 and I was able to develop a relationship with Dad until he passed in 2001. I am extremely grateful I was able to become this Son to it wonderful, quiet, reserved Dad
