Back in the 50s and 60s there were lots of TV westerns. Us now mature gentlemen watched one after another and seems we turned out alright as law abiding citizens. Guess we weren't brainwashed by cowboys and Indians bangin away. These days we have only Hell On Wheels to watch and violence seems far worse than back in our days.

I grew up watching after school: Gunsmoke, The Rifleman and any other western that graced our--pre-cable TV days. I havent shot anyone, never scapled an injun either. Anyway,I TRIED my best--honest--to give Hell on Wheels a chance but--I dont care for and dont consider that show--a western.
